Individual Portraits

The other day in class we had our lab time (about two hours) to go out and shoot our classmates in six different locations. It was a lot of fun and i really enjoyed it. Adelyn was a great model and here are a couple of my favorites!

Designed to Shine

This Sunday with the middle school and high school girls of our youth group, we did an all day Bible study about how each one of them are "Designed to Shine." Although they will shine in different ways, they will each shine brightly. I love helping with the youth group girls!

Studio Engagement

Southern Sunset

The sunset tonight was gorgeous and with the silhouette of the rolling field and the old barn in the foreground makes it the perfect southern sunset.

Learning Lessons

This was our latest assignment, it was to shoot a female that is not a fellow classmate. The point was to see how different it is to photograph someone who is trained in photography and posing and then someone who is not; which is what we will be dealing with in real life. I learned a lot from this assignment and will be even more prepared for next time!

On the Track

This weekend I was able to go to the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It was a lot o fun being able to be so close to the track during the race!

August Birthdays

August is full of birthdays in my family. Friday night I  was able to celebrate with my cousin, Brooke for her sweet sixteen and then Sunday we celebrated my brother's birthday at the Durham Bulls game. Here are a few pictures from the weekend!
